The Queens Type of Music
I love all types of music, but what I find myself mostly listening to is Indie music and EDM. The reason I like Indie music is because it offers diverse, new, and interesting music for people like me who get tired of listening to the same thing over and over again. It gets kind of boring listening to the radio all the time because you hear the same old stuff. Not the case with indie. My favorite Indie artist would have to be Florence and The Machine. As for EDM, I love EDM because EDM is just live and puts me in a good mood when I listen to it. Also I love the beat, especially when the beat drops.

I can relate to your feeling about music on the radio. Sometimes real enjoyment of music can come through surprises in an unfamiliar song or unexpected twists in a new artist. Indie artists like Porcupine Tree (my favorite) try to break the traditions that keep radio music so homogenous. I hope to see some reviews on EDM music from you since I'm not familiar with it.
